Hi everyone,
I know it's been such a long time since the last blog but, you see, I don't seem to be quite able to adjust my brain to remembering how to keep using a blog, I guess there are more people out there who are like myself and not very computer literate...........please don't tell me I'm the only one......I couldn't handle that!
Well, here goes, I really am going to try very hard and blog a lot more often.
I love Fridays because myself and three close friends get together at one or others house and drink tea, eat cake and maybe do a little crafting.........we also chat a heck of a lot too. We were all at my house today including my husband and youngest son, although they weren't making cards but were doing the eating and drinking!
My home is now known as 'the house of the thieving dog!' Why, you might ask..........well I will tell you. As you can see from the photo Mollie is a rather angelic looking (don't be fooled!) Golden Retriever and not like any other Golden Retriever I have known. She loves to rifle your pockets for tissues and chews them up scattering bits and pieces around the house. She will snatch things from handbags when you're not looking and one day when my friends were here she took a new packet of soft mints out of a handbag and started to chew them up but decided she didn't like mint so proceeded to spit bits out around the kitchen and utility room..........that was a lovely mess to clean up..........little pieces sticking to the sole of your shoes....yuk! But her breath smelt lovely! She also likes to tear up paper and card and she's not fussy what colour it is oh! and waste paper bins if she can get to those, well......!!
Unfortunately, I was unable to complete the Christmas card I was making for the Merry Monday challenge, however, when it is finished I will show you. It has to be done by Sunday evening, it will
probably take me that long to finish so I will love you and leave you until next time. Happy crafting.
P.S. Tim Holtz new distress colour should be out now.....oooooh so excited!!

Tuesday 9th February
Hello everyone,
Well I know it has been a little while since I last blogged but with going to see my son Thomas at university and then preparing to go on holiday I haven't had too much time. I haven't made many cards either and won't be until the end of the month because I am off to India tomorrow. I am so excited that I know I won't sleep tonight. I'm all packed (have been since this morning) and raring to go. First stop Manchester airport for about 8 hours which is rather boring but I'd rather be waiting there than the flight be cancelled and have to wait for hours here.
Well I hope to be blogging from Udaipur later in the week and if you're lucky (and I know how to do it, which at the moment I don't) I may add some photos.
Well hope to see you soon but from India in the warmth.
Take care.

My First Blog on Blogland
Hello Blogland!
I've finally taken the plunge and set up this little old blog. Not quite sure what's going to be on here but I guess I'll figure it out (with a little help from my friends! Well a bit more than a little).
So here goes............I make a few cards here on the Isle of Man and thoroughly enjoy it. I have a few like minded friends who are just as mad as me but we have a great time when we get together, which seems to be quite often these days! Unfortunately, as there are no Craft Exhibitions or Creative Craft Shows over here, we have to negotiate that awful stretch of water called the Irish Sea and if you're not careful it can be pretty evil especially if you catch it on an off day! So, needless to say a few trips to England are called for, the first one for this year will be in March. Not long to go......whoopee!!
Well, that's all I'm going to tell you today because it's now 22.30 on Friday night and I'd like to try and play a little before I hit the sack. Goodnight all see you soon. Maggie
